About the Training
This 2-day training provides a practical understanding of the requirements of ISO 14064-1:2018 and how they can be applied when developing an organisational GHG inventory.
The training covers the main requirements of the standard, including organisational and reporting boundaries, emission categorisation, GHG quantification, data quality, reporting, and preparation for validation and verification.
Participants will also work through practical exercises, calculations and real-world case studies during the training.
What You Will Learn
- ISO 14064-1:2018 requirements, structure and terminology
- Organisational and reporting boundaries
- Identification and categorisation of GHG emission sources
- Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions
- GHG emission and removal quantification methods
- Activity data and emission factors
- GHG data quality and uncertainty
- GHG inventory reporting requirements
- Validation and verification readiness
Practical Training
GHG Calculation Exercises
Calculate Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions using activity data and emission factors.
Emission Source Identification
Identify and categorise GHG emission sources using practical examples.
Organisational Boundary Exercise
Work through examples to understand how organisational boundaries are established.
Data Quality and Uncertainty
